“Miss Virgins” embraces Bai Tu Long Bay

Telling of the sea, someone will imagine about the salty of water and huge waves, strong winds or monotony calm of surface water spreads to the horizon.  So, Quan Lan will bring the image of a strange island: Enough to bring gentle feeling peacefully and wise enough to fascinate or hold your foot.

Located about 50 km from Ha Long Bay to the northeast, Quan Lan is wild and shy as a virgins, Quan Lan islandstretches from east to west, from the foothills of Mount Gog Van Don, embraced the eastern edge of Bai Tu Long Bay.


The concrete-lined road between green casuarinas and white sand. Take the ferry from Van Don harbor, after about 3 hours of sailing on the bay between rocky mountain populations; visitors were able to put the first steps of exploration of this interesting island.

Sightseeing on the island, would be a very strange feeling to sit in the tuk – tuk  ( private cars in this place, like the blue car with 10 seats) wandering on the new concreted road, immersed in nature with trees, the sand, the sea, the sun …

Quan Lan temple

A destination not to be missed when visiting the beautiful island of Quan Lan temple. This is one of the oldest temples in Quang Ninh province and is also considered the only house church in Vietnam King Ly Anh Tong – who had founded the Van Don trading port in 1149 to trade with foreign countries, wings integration of our country first.
