Tuan Chau island
Tuan Chau island resort has an area of 220ha and is constructed on rolling hills. A concrete road with 2km long connects the island to mainland which is about 8km far from Ha Long City.
Coming to Tuan Chau island, visitors can participate in water sport activities such as: high-speed water motorbike, skiing motor, windsurfing, fishing, boating, hot- air balloon to enjoy the beauty of halong Bay, or hiking, camping … Besides that, dolphin, sea lion, seal shows, animal circus show, or martial arts are served 3 times per day except Monday.
Bai Tho Mountain
Bai Tho Mountain is famous for not only natural scenery but also cultural and historical value. However Bai Tho Mountain is best known due to the poem carved on the cliff. On the mountains there are still traces of some poems in both Chinese and Vietnamese. Bai Tho Mountain becomes a symbol of Ha Long city, the pride of people in Ha Long and Quang Ninh.
Culture and Festivals
Cua Ong Temple Festival: Cua Ong Temple has been famous for its sacredness since it was only a fane under the old tree on the bank of Cua Suot. Visitors can come to the festival via Halong city or by waterway in Halong Bay, via Bai Tu Long Bay and come close to lower temple.
Yen Tu Festival: Held annually on January 10th and lasts until the end of March (based on lunar calendar). Yen Tu used to be the Buddhist center of Vietnam and foreign visitors come to Yen Tu to witness a famous beauty spot as well as a mysterious tourist attraction.
