The Dark and Bright Cave (Hang Sang Toi) belongs to the poetic Lan Ha Bay which is located within the in Cat Ba national park’s area. This gorgeous site is ideal to explore by kayaking and melt their souls into the nature. The grotto commences at water level signified by an arched entrance; behind this natural entrance is a tranquil round lake, surrounded by lush trees with various orchid species, hanging their sweet-scented flowers. In the lake, many species of shrimp, fish, crab, cattle-fish and corals are abound. It is known as one of the best places for kayaking activity, and you may love discover Halong by yourselves here.
The Dark Cave is quite long with little natural light showing a mysterious beauty. The Bright Cave is the most beautiful cave in Lan Ha bay, which has daylight shining through to the other side. The beauty of the site is the mingling all factors of nature, the mountain’s size and form, the color of the water and clouds. None of cruises has taken the tourists to the Dark and Light Cave yet within the itinerary of a 2-day Halong, since only one night on the Bay will geographically take much more effort to be here. Still, since November 2014 November, the Gray Line, as a pioneer, has started adding this great place into the two-day one-night program in order to enrich tourists’ experience and offer more space for expanded kayaking activity, since assisting their tourists to get the best and most unique, spontaneous experience is one of the top goals of Gray Line crew.
