Welcome to Gray Line Halong website. Please read our terms and conditions carefully. On booking online or signing our booking form when making reservation by phone or email, you are deem to have read and accepted our booking conditions and the terms of these conditions on behalf of all persons in party.

Basic of rates
All prices for cruise are generally per cabin, not per person, or a single where noted. Our prices and fares are quoted in US dollars.

Deposit and final payment
Deposit payments must be settled by Vietcombank of Vietnam or any online payment link from sales person. Deposits are generally 50% of the total holiday cost. Final balance is due 20 days prior to departure.  Full payment must be made at time of booking if made within 20 days of departure. We reserve the right to cancel your booking and apply the relevant cancellation charge (detailed as below) if we do not receive all payment at the due time.

Cancellation by guests
You need to notify the company in writing as soon as possible if you or any member of your party needs to cancel your cruise holiday. The cancellation charge is base on the total invoice charge

Cancellation by GRAY LINE HALONG CRUISE
In the event of strikes, lockouts, stoppage of labor, riots, weather conditions or any other reason whatsoever, we have the absolute right to cancel, advance, postpone or substitute any scheduled sailing or itinerary without prior notice. Gray Line Halong may, but is not obliged to, substitute another vessel for any sailing and cannot be liable for any loss to the passenger by reason such as cancellation, advancement, postponement or substitution.

Cancellation by  BAD WEATHER AND MAJEURE PROBLEMS 

1. Substituted solutions in bad weather and majeure problems.

1.1 Definition of bad weather and majeure problems.

Those situations includes big waves, thunderstorms, non-permission for staying overnight on cruises from Ha Long Management Board or any cruise’s damages which may threat to the safe and health of visitors.

1.2 For 2 days 1 night tour

Solution 1:Had lunch only on departure date and come back to Hanoi: Charge 25$/customer and free pick-up service (if available).

Solution 2:Had lunch on departure date and take 1 day tour on Gray Line Cruise: Charge 80$/customer and free pick-up service (if available).

Solution 3:Had lunch on departure date, take 1 day tour and stay overnight at Halong hotel (including breakfast and dinner): Refund 10% of the total booking fee.

1.3 For 3 days 2 nights tour:

1.3.1. If bad weather and majeure problems incur on the first day tour:

Following the term 1.2, booking would be converted into 2 days 1 night tour with backup plan as the table above in the tem 1.2.  Customer will reserve booking again for the next day ( if available).

1.3.2. If bad weather and majeure problems incur on the second day tour:

 Passenger can choose 1 of these 2 options:

Option 1: Gray Line Cruise will apply substituted program, no refund or extra fees.

Option 2: Passenger agrees to cancel the program of 3D2N tour, takes part in activities with other customers who booked 2D1N tour and finishes completely 2D1N tour. Passenger will be refunded 25% of the total booking fee.

1.3.3. If bad weather and majeure problems incur on the last half day of the second day tour:

Passenger could join activities on the last half day of the second day tour and are not able neither stay overnight in the second night nor participate in the third-day-tour programs. Gray Line will refund 10% of booking fee.

2.Responsibility in bad weather and majeure problems.

- Gray Line Cruise has the authorities to change the itineraries, activities, places without notification to passenger due to the weather situation at that moment.

- Gray Line Cruise does not have responsibility for reserving hotel room or services for customers when bad weather interrupt the tour program. All services could be arranged upon customer's request.

Insurance
Insurance on board is applied if the real loss/ damage/ body injuries occur. Gray Line Halong encourages passengers to buy international tourist insurance before cruise date.

Liability
The liability of the company and any other party that may be involved in providing services in connection with any of the holidays in this brochure may be limited where international apply.
The company is not to be heil responsible for any act, event or omission during the time passengers are not aboard the vessel.
Beside we also provide professional travel liability insurance package with limit of indemnity up to US$250,000 provide a safeguard and immediate help for problems occurred during the trip.

Children policy
01 child maximum per cabin and child reduction applicable only if sharing a cabin with maximum 02 adult
Children under 6 years old: free of charge if sharing with parents and using existing bedding.   Baby cot is sometime not available and must be informed in advance.
One child from 6-11 years old: maximum per cabin and only if sharing a cabin with 2 adults in existing bedding. A surcharge of USD 80.00/1 child is applied.
Two children from 6-11 years old will stay at private cabin are charged 75% adult rate.
Children above 12 years old will pay full adult rate.

Confirmation policy
All confirmations are generally confirmed by return email or fax. In case immediate confirmation is not possible, we will inform you of the booking status at the time of reservation.

Passenger’s information
Client is requested to submit all passenger detail at least 24 hour prior to check-in passengers: Full name, Date of birth, Gender, Nationality, Passport number, Vietnam via expiry date, contact number.
